On 11 and 12 June, the Executive Committee and the Training & Education SubCommittee of the EHEDG met in Faro at the Universidade do Algarve, thanks to the hospitality of Prof. Margarida Cortez Vieira and the Portuguese Regional Section. This SubCommittee performs a steering and monitoring function with regard to EHEDG training activities.
One of the main objectives of this group is the continuous improvement of the EHEDG training offer and in particular the official EHEDG Fundamental Course and Advanced Course.
The group is also working on the development of e-learning training modules on the basic principles of hygienic design.
Finally, the meeting was an opportunity to visit the Food Science and Technology laboratories of the Universidade do Algarve and evaluate further possibilities for future collaboration with this organization.
