A special thanks to Prof. Valentina Bernini for the opportunity to present EHEDG and the principles of hygienic design to the students of the MITA – Máster Internacional en Tecnologías de Alimentos master’s course, jointly organised by the University of Parma (Italy) and the Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina).
MITA is now a consolidated reality and a virtuous example of a fruitful collaboration between university institutions from different countries.
As the Italian Section of EHEDG, we are proud to be able to present a small module on the hygienic design of food plants as part of such a wide-ranging training programme.
The participants, most of whom already had work experience in the food sector, showed great interest and awareness of the importance of this topic, which we addressed in a very practical manner as always.
